As the Creative Communications Coordinator at the Division of Student Life, my main initiative was to brand the new Alumni Donor Program and develop marketing solutions to promote alumni engagement and donations.
1. Designing print and digital marketing materials
Using Adobe Illustrator, I designed invitations for upcoming alumni networking events in various cities across the United States. These invitations were optimized for both print and email (distributed through MailChimp) .
2. Writing and creating a monthly newsletter for the Division of Student Life alumni network
I designed monthly newsletter ("Alumni & Friends News") to keep over 30,000 alumni up to date about upcoming events, campus news, giving opportunities and the accomplishments of various Wisconsin notable alumni, students, and student organizations within the Division of Student Life.
I utilized Adobe Illustrator to design headers and logos, created the overall layout, and create a cohesive template for the content to be easily inserted each month. I also aided in the writing and editing of all written content, selected all supporting images, and interviewed alumni for feature articles.
